Two MS groups
LEWISTON — There are now two multiple sclerosis support groups in the area. In order to accommodate the needs of families affected by MS, there are morning and an evening support groups.
The evening group meets at 6 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the Lepage Center, 99 Campus Ave. The morning support group meets at 9 a.m. on the second Friday of the month at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave., Auburn.
Families/friends are welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings.

Pennell dedication
GRAY — The Henry Pennell Municipal Complex will be rededicated on Saturday, July 24, with a variety of events occurring from noon to 9 p.m., ending with fireworks. Besides the rededication ceremony, there will be tours of the building, music, a chicken barbecue and a “Memory Walk” dedication.
Diabetes support
AUBURN — People with diabetes or pre-diabetes are invited to join the diabetes support group at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at St. Mary’s Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Topics will include healthy eating, exercise and changing habits. The group will be facilitated by two individuals with type 2 diabetes and supported by St. Mary’s Certified Diabetes Educators.
The group will meet in the diabetes education classroom at St. Mary’s Auburn Campus, 15 Gracelawn Road.It will continue to meet on the first Tuesday of every month. The service is free and refreshments will be available. Call ahead to register at 777-8625.
