1960 – 2010

LEWISTON — Loreda Mae Wheeler, 49, of South Paris, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 20, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her family at her side.

She was born in Norway on Aug. 8, 1960, the daughter of William and Margaret (Cary) Holden. She grew up in the South Paris area and was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School in 1978.

Loreda enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active partner of Moss Brook Community Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Zackary Wheeler and his wife, Michelle and their children, Margarett, Owen, Mackenzie, Liam and Seamus to be born in August; her parents, William and Margaret Holden of South Paris; four sisters, Terry Stevens of South Paris, Laurie Holden of Pennsylvania, Eleanor Holden of Virginia and Bambi Walker of Virginia; one brother, Anthony Holden of Oxford; and their families as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
