After listening to a Russian folk tale as part of this summer’s “Discover Something New at the Paris Public Library” program, youth and parents in the Unplugged Monday Morning 10:30 group engage in splitting, peeling, dumping and being the “Top Banana” while playing the Scrabble-like crossword game called Bananagrams. Deliberating over their choices of words, are in front, from left, Amber Lynch and Lauren Ruby; back, Wendy Ruby and Cassandra McAlister. Another group also engaged in playing Bananagrams while many younger children opted for the alternative crafts or toys.
