Call for artists

HALLOWELL — Kennebec Valley Art Association has issued an open call for exhibition proposals for the Harlow Gallery for the 2011 exhibition season.

The gallery has been owned and operated by the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a nonprofit membership based organization that has been supporting the arts and artists of central Maine for half a century. An exhibition committee will meet in October to determine the Harlow’s exhibition schedule for 2011.

Proposed exhibitions may be solo, group or themed-open, invitational or juried. The exhibition committee is especially interested in presenting art by promising or under-appreciated Maine artists; art from a range of disciplines; contemporary or conceptual art; and shows that have the potential to appeal to new audience.

For proposal forms and further details, visit www.harlowgallery.org, e-mail [email protected] or call 207 622-3813.
