1959 – 2010

FARMINGTON — Michelle A. (Trask) Cain, 50, of New Sharon, formerly of Wilton, passed peacefully at Sandy River Nursing Care Center in Farmington on Thursday, July 22.

She was born Dec. 1, 1959, in Farmington, the daughter of Carl and Judy (Butterfield) Trask. A 1978 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and 1994 graduate of UMF, she will be remembered as a teacher, gifted with the ability to help children with special needs.

She is survived by her children, Colby Cain of Bangor and Jessica “Jess” Cain and her companion, Mahlon Presby Jr., of Avon; her mother, Judy Trask of Farmington; grandchildren Isabella Cain and Kaci and Kyle Presby of Avon; aunt Joline Frecker of Augusta; the father of her children, Michael Cain of Otisfield; and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her dad, grandparents and uncles.
