Lions field day
PHILLIPS — A Phillips/Strong Lions Club Field Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31, on Main Street.
There will be a dunk tank, homemade goodies and games and prizes for kids, and King Lion Clyde will be there serving up hot dogs. It is the first fundraiser since the group was chartered in April.
Farmer’s market
WELD — Weld Extension Homemakers will host the 15th annual Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Town Hall Building, School Street. There will be food, vegetables, flowers and crafts.
