On July 5 – 6:34 p.m., Edward Keenan, 58, of North Anson was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with operating under the influence on Route 2. Keenan posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On July 7 – 6:10 p.m., Thomas Taylor, 48, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating under the influence on River Street. Taylor was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. Unknown court date.

On July 8 – 11:50 p.m., Maxwell Fowler, 32, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with drinking in public on Hosmer Field.

On July 9 – 1:10 p.m., Curtis Moody, 39, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. F. David Bean with domestic assault on Essex Avenue. Moody was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On July 10– 12:19 a.m., Melissa Trudeau, 20, of Bristol, Vt., was charged by Sgt. Bernard with illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile on Route 2. Trudeau is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On July 12 – 8:35 a.m., Michael Pelletier, 23, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with operating under the influence on Route 2. Pelletier posted $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On July 12 – 11:50 a.m., Franklin Steele, 28, of Bethel was charged by Ptl. Ian Theriault with operating a motor vehicle without a license on Route 2. Steele was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On July 12 – 10:37 p.m., Shawn Daley, 41, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with domestic assault on Franklin Street. Daley posted $300 unsecured bail.

On July 15 – 8:57 p.m., Michelle Penley, 36, of West Paris was charged by Acting Cpl. K. Scott Mills with violating conditions of release on Route 2.

On July 16 – 11 p.m., Larry Chapman, 31, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with endangering the welfare of a child on Cumberland Street. Chapman posted $500 cash and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On July 16 – 2:30 a.m., Aaron Sargent, 33, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with disorderly conduct on Spruce Street. Sargent was unable to post bail and was transported.

On July 18 – 4:52 p.m., Timothy Tyler, 52, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Ian Theriault with violating conditions of release on Route 2. Tyler was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On July 21 – 8:20 a.m., Dawn Goodwin, 40, of Rhode Island was charged by Ptl. Ian Theriault with disorderly conduct on Hancock Street. Goodwin was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On July 21 – 8:20 a.m., James Robillard, 41, of Rhode Island was charged by Ptl. Ian Theriault with disorderly conduct on Hancock Street. Robillard was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On July 23 – 4:31 p.m., Parker Erskine, 20, of Rumford was charged by Acting Cpl. K. Scott Mills with violating a protection order on Plymouth Avenue. Erskine posted $800 unsecured bail.

On July 8 – 6:32 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld investigated an incident where two subjects reported an assault on Maine Avenue. The subjects were warned to stay away from each other.

On July 12 – 9:42 p.m., Ptl. Miller is investigating an incident where three subjects assaulted a Rumford resident on Falls Hill.

Burglary:

On July 7 – 12:18 p.m., Ptl. Theriault is investigating the burglary of an Erchles Street residence. An $800 computer was taken.

Thefts:

On July 7 – 5:47 a.m., Ptl. Theriault investigating the theft of a Dunkin’ Donuts card, radar unit and a knife with a total value of $130 from a parked car on Lochness Road.

On July 8 – 10:32 p.m., Ptl. Miller investigating the theft of a wallet with $85 from an establishment on Oxford Avenue.

On July 10 – 7:17 a.m., Sgt. Bean investigating the theft of an $800 canoe from Route 2.
