LIVERMORE FALLS — Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care’s Livermore Falls Head Start Prekindergarten Program will hold an application day on Tuesday, Aug. 10, beginning at 9 a.m. at 9 Cedar St.

Parents of children ages 3 to 5 should contact the Enrollment Office at 795-4040, ext. 325, to schedule an appointment. Walk-in applications will also be taken from 9 a.m to noon.

Parents interested in the program should plan on spending 30 minutes to complete the application. Materials required to process the application include the child’s birth certificate, Social Security numbers for every member of the household, the child’s immunization record and if applicable, Maine Care Card, TANF statement and proof of income.

Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care has provided quality early care and educational services to pregnant women, families, and children for over 44 years. Program options include full-day Head Start prekindergarten and child care, half-day Head Start prekindergarten, home based, family child care, infant and toddler early Head Start and the child and adult care food program. Services through these programs are provided annually to over 400 children and families throughout Androscoggin County.

Applications for all programs are accepted at any time. Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care is a United Way funded and Lewiston and Auburn CDBG supported agency.
