CANTON, N.Y. — The following local students earned honors for academics during the spring 2010 semester at SUNY Canton:

Alexander R. Wells of Chesterville, who is majoring in mechanical engineering technology and is a 2006 graduate of Mount Blue High School, made president’s list. Wells graduated in May 2010.

Joshua A. Kostura of Otisfield, who is majoring in graphic and multimedia design and is a 2006 graduate of Georgetown High School, made dean’s list.

To receive president’s list honors, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. For dean’s list, full-time students must receive a grade point average of 3.25.
