Thomas Michael Puiia of Rumford has been named to the dean’s list for the spring quarter at the University of Maine at Orono. He received a 3.8 grade point average.

A first-year student at the college, Puiia is studying mechanical engineering. He is the son of Thomas N. and Linda Puiia of Rumford and is a 2009 graduate of Mountain Valley High School.
