AUBURN — The First Auburn Seniors will meet Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Hasty Community Center. President Angie Jipson will conduct the meeting. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. and the regular meeting will be at 11 a.m.

Tickets will be on sale, for $5, for the summer picnic to be held Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Hasty Community Center. The event will be shared with the New Auburn Seniors. The menu will include hot dogs, hamburgers, corn and beverages. Bingo will be played following lunch.

Aug. 4 has been declared Bring a Friend Day and all members are invited to participate. Bingo will be played following a bag lunch.

On July 21, 68 members enjoyed a chicken barbecue. Attendance winners were George Herrick Sr. and Ellie Rolerson; pot of gold winners, Lennie Godbout, George Brainerd and Bob Berry. Members also welcomed Bob Berry as a new member.
