SANGERVILLE (AP) — A father and son have been found dead at a hunting camp in central Maine.

Steve McCausland, a spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said detectives listed the deaths as “unexplained.” The two were identified as 49-year-old Andrew Giroux of Saco, who owned the camp in Sangerville, and 25-year-old Dustin Giroux, also of Saco.

McCausland said the two men were spending the weekend at the camp with four others. The elder Giroux was found dead outside the camp Sunday morning. His son was found dead inside in bed.

Police have interviewed the four other men. Authorities said there was no obvious sign of foul play.

The bodies were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for autopsies, most likely Monday.
