AUBURN —  June Ann Farrell, 83, passed away Friday night, July 30, at the Hospice House in Auburn with her family by her side.

She was born on May 25, 1927 in Lincoln, N.H., one of 11 children of the late James and Jesse Walsh.

She went to school in Lincoln and was an avid basketball player.

She met Joseph Norman Farrell in Lincoln while he was working construction there.

They were married on Oct. 15, 1950, and were blessed with three sons Steven, David and Daniel.

June worked as a cook at Fairview School for years until retiring.

She was a resident of Montello Manor for the last four years.

June is survived by two sons, David, of Lewiston, and Daniel and his wife, Gail, of Auburn; five  grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Brad, Bryan and Brent; five great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brooke, Haileigh, Taylor and Reese; and one sister, Joyce.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and her son, Steven.
