LEWISTON — A woman whose car was hit broadside by a motorcycle was listed in critical condition Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Lilliane Morin, 75, of Bates Street was taken to Central Maine Medical Center on Monday shortly before 7 p.m. with injuries from the crash.

James Deen, 31, of 244 Lincoln St., was identified by police as the driver of the blue Yamaha motorcycle. Rescue workers tried to revive Deen at the scene. He was later pronounced dead.

The bike hit the driver’s side door of the green Subaru Morin was driving when she pulled out onto Lisbon Street from KFC, witnesses said.

Police continued to investigate the crash, Lt. Mark Cornelio said.
