Cathy Proulx, pictured, is planning a chicken barbecue to benefit Doug Adell, recovering from a double lung transplant. The benefit will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Grace Lutheran Church, 757 Summer St., Auburn. The meal will include two pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), drink, dessert, salad and chips. Cost is $7; seniors and children (one piece of chicken), $6. Attendees can eat in or take out or call ahead at 782-9697 for drive through service.
