Father Marc Boisvert, OMI, right, received a check for $5,600 from Jean Gastonguay, left, president of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste Council No. 413, a division of Catholic Financial Life. The money was raised through a family bottle drive sponsored by the council with the support of Prince of Peace Parish and Lewiston-Auburn residents. The effort will help provide food, medicine, shelter and clothing for 800 resident children in Hope Village in Les Cayes, Haiti. More than 2,200 children are studying or learning a trade at their five schools where 3,500 meals are served each day.
