No doubt there will be a large attendance at Music Hall today, as one of the best shows of the present season is holding forth at this popular theater.
Comedians Coleman and Phillips are certainly the deliverers of good, rich comedy. This couple have an act that has gone extremely big during their engagement in this city. They are fine singers, clever dancers and an all-around couple of real entertainers that have the happy faculty of winning their audience at the very start.

A survey yesterday of gasoline service stations in the Twin Cities gave no apparent indication that local service stations are selling high test and regular gasoline from the same tank.
The survey resulted in reports that such a practice has been used in other locations, but apparently is not used here.
There is no check in Maine as to the octane value of gasoline, but state tax laws make it illegal to mislabel gasoline.

WINTHROP — With little discussion, the Town Council Monday night approved implementation of “work-fare” for the town’s general assistance system.
Under the plan, which will take effect immediately, able recipients, — including mothers whose children are in school — can be required to work for the minimum-wage equivalence of their town welfare benefits.
