AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the American Legion Post 31, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Following the meeting, bingo will be played.

Members and friends will take a bus trip Friday, Aug. 20, to Meredith, N.H., and on arrival will board a train for a scenic ride, with dinner served on the train, under the direction of trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin. The bus will leave the American Legion Post 31 at 8:30 a.m.

Fifty-one members attended Robin Dow’s annual picnic July 28 at the American Legion Hall, under the direction of the president, Merry Strout. Lucien Marcoux was the main chef for the hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream sundaes served with the assistance of his volunteer crew. Various card games were played throughout the day and following lunch, super bingo was played.

Pot of gold winners were Clara Hahn and Florence Webber and mystery prize winners were Phillip Cyr and Nancy Roy.
