LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday for Stella LaBrecque in the lower church at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Nathan March officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Ouellette, Jim Couture, John and Nolan Bell, Derek Libby and Maurice Nadeau. Readings and the prayer of the faithful were done by Ann Libby and Denise Couture Bell. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Jeanine Cloutier, Norman Couture and Pauline Couture. A reception followed at the Chick-a-Dee restaurant in Lewiston.
