LEWISTON — Funeral services for Real Samson were held Monday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, with Monsignor Marc Caron officiating. Readings were done by Marena Bloomstum, Remicca Blake and Tina Lamontagne. The offertory gifts were brought up by Kaylob and Sauchanna Levesque. Pallbearers were Rodney and John Lamontagne and Matt and Mike Levesque. Flag bearer was Kaylob Levesque. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program and presented the U.S. flag to Real’s son, Rusty.
