SOUTH PARIS — Western Maine University and the South Paris Career Center will host a benefit barbecue from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 232 Main St.

The benefit is for the family of Michael Price, who passed away suddenly on July 22. Price was a student at the University College Center and a client of the Career Center. All proceeds from the event will go to the family for funeral services and other unexpected expenses.
