LEWISTON — Lucien J. Cloutier 88, of Grove St. died Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Central Maine Medical Center with his family at his side. He was born in Daaquam, Canada, on Sept. 24, 1921. In his younger years, he worked as a lumberjack. He then went on to be an edge trimmer for Billing Shoe. He enjoyed nature, whether it was hunting, fishing, or spending time at his camp at Sunday River. He also enjoyed animals, cooking and gardening, he was known for his green thumb. He always looked forward to seeing his family and enjoyed many family gatherings.

He leaves a stepdaughter, Lorraine Coulombe of Auburn; two stepsons, Larry Coulombe of South Paris and Thomas Coulombe and his wife, Patricia, of Minot; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Coulombe of Auburn, Theodore and Grace Coulombe of South Paris and Mary Coulombe of Portland; a great-granddaughter, Valerie Estabrook; and a great-great-grandson, Noah Estabrook.
