The Stephens Memorial Hospital Emergency Department was the recipient of the latest batch of wooden toys from Thomas Christensen, a member of The Toymakers of Bangor, an organization begun in Florida which makes toys for children in difficult situations. Christensen has been making and distributing toys for several years to hospitals and shelters throughout Maine. To aid in his effort, he receives donations and discounted supplies from businesses in the Bangor area. Karen Beaulieu, RN, and Jaime Rossignol, RN, are pictured with the donation of wooden toys.
