AUBURN — The Cage softball team is holding a softball tournament at the Auburn fields on Sunday, Aug. 29 to help with the cost of traveling to the Class D nationals in Columbus, Ohio in September. The cost to enter the tournament is $175 and it will be a double elimination format. The deadline to enter the tourney is Aug. 20, and the draw for the brackets will be held on Aug. 25.

There will also be a home run derby the Friday night preceding the tournament at the Pettengill softball field in Auburn, at 6 p.m. The cost for the home run derby is $15, all bats are eligible and entrants must supply their own pitchers.
