RANGELEY — Country singer Suzy Bogguss, known for her friendly, engaging and approachable style, will return to Saddleback Maine on Friday, Aug. 20.
Bogguss has released one platinum and three gold albums. She has also charted six Top 10 singles: “Someday Soon,” “Outbound Plane,” “Aces,” “Letting Go,” “Drive South ” and “Hey Cinderella.”
She won the Academy of Country Music’s award for Top New Female Vocalist in 1988 and the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award in 1992.
After her last performance at Saddleback, Bogguss greeted guests who stayed after the show to speak with her.
“Suzy is a fantastic artist to see perform in our base lodge,” said Chris Farmer, general manager of Saddleback. “The intimate venue truly complements her music and is perfectly suited to her style of singing.”
