LEWISTON —  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for Claire C. Mercier at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul following prayers at Fortin Group Funeral Home.

The Rev. Nathan March officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Reginald Cloutier, Gregory Cloutier, William P. Keefe, Patrick Cloutier and Raymond Cloutier II.

Honorary pallbearers were members of “The Lunch Bunch,” Gert Chasse, Pauline Langelier, Louise Marcotte, Connie Bilodeau, Paulette Martel, Marie Vincent Steele and Rita Dube.
