Greetings,

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 18th Annual Great Falls Balloon Festival.

This festival is a FREE community event and we encourage you to join is all weekend on the Riverfront of Lewiston and Auburn.

The Balloon Festival takes place on August 20, 21 &23 at Simard-Payne Police Memorial Park on Oxford Street, Lewiston, Maine and Festival Plaza on Main Street in Auburn, Maine.

Join us all weekend to view 25 hot air balloons and 2 special shape balloons. The balloons will be launching each day at 6AM and 6PM WEATHER PERMITTING.

We have something for the whole family, carnival rides, kid’s area, entertainment, food & drinks, crafters/artistes, field demonstrations, official festival souvenirs, a Saturday morning parade, a farmers market of Saturday & Sunday, and a family fun day on Sunday.

On behalf of the board of directors and me we would like to thank our sponsors, the cities of Auburn and Lewiston, the hundreds of volunteers and all landowners who provide areas for safe landings of the balloons. Also we would like to thank the local and surrounding communities for your continued support of this one of kind event.
