Both the Lewiston and Auburn public libraries have park passes to lend out. The Kiwanis Club sponsors the passes, which are valid for one entry to a park. Participating parks include the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, the Children’s Museum Theater of Maine, the Southworth Planetarium in Portland and the Children’s Discovery Museum in Augusta. Day passes can be picked up on the day of use and only one can be used each day. Families from Auburn, Lewiston and Minot are eligible. The Kiwanis has been supporting the program for more than 13 years. Debbie Cleveland of the Auburn Public Library, left, is pictured handing a day pass to Jen and Colman. For more information about Kiwanis, go to www.kiwanisauburnlewiston.org or the club’s Facebook page or call Jan at 795-9614. Meetings are held at noon on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, at the Ramada Inn.
