AUBURN — Rexford W. Sinclair Sr., 69, died Monday, Aug. 16, at the Hospice House. He was a resident of Main Street in Mexico for many years.

He was born in Rumford, Aug. 18, 1940, a son of the late Rexford L. and Hilda (Stacey) Sinclair. He was a graduate of Mexico High School. He worked for Mead Paper Mill in Rumford in the Bleach Plant until his retirement. He was a member of the LeParesseux Snowshoe Club.

He was married in Rumford, June 22, 1962, to the late Patricia J. “Pat” Finnan, who died in Mexico, Dec. 12, 1995.

Survivors include a son, Rexford W. Sinclair Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Rumford; a daughter, Heidi – Marie Fraser and her husband, Rick, of Sydney; four grandchildren, Daniel Francis and his fiance, Jessica, of Berwick, Nancy Francis of Westbrook, Kelly Fraser of Sydney and Adam Fraser of Sydney; a brother, James Sinclair and his wife, Ann, of Rumford; and a sister, Judy Shover and her husband, Larry, of Mexico.
