AUBURN — Funeral services for Arthur P. Higgins were held Tuesday at The Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home. Chaplain Kathleen O’Wril officiated at the service and recited committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park where interment followed in the family lot. Following the committal prayers at the cemetery, Military Honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program, as “taps” was played and the American flag was folded and presented to his son John. Pallbearers were David Jacobs, Greg Seeley, Jack O’Brien, Bill Mullin and Mike Lachance. Funeral arrangements were under the care of The Fortin Group / Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Service, Auburn.
