WILTON — The last Third Thursday for this season begins today, Aug. 19, with a fishing derby for children under age 16 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the foot of Wilson Lake.
Prizes will be awarded at 6 p.m., said Stacey Damon. Several businesses have donated prizes.
This last Third Thursday also features a street dance from 6 to 9 downtown at the monument, she said. Music and games, line dancing, antique cars and specials at area eateries are also planned.
For those who like a challenge, Wilton’s own version of the television show, “A Minute to Win It,” will be offered with games and an obstacle course, she said.
Everyone is welcome to join in the activities, she added.
