AUBURN — Androscoggin Advisory Partners is celebrating its first anniversary of service to the local business community.

Organized to foster strategic relationships among Androscoggin County businesses, the nonprofit group is composed of local professionals who offer a wide range of goods and services, advice and introductions to both new and established business ventures.

AAP’s member advisers aim to build relationships based on trust and competence, by demonstrating, through sound professional reputations, a capacity to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. Member advisers network, share information, and help each other create strategies for business development, strengthen ties with existing clients and cultivate new business prospects.

This fall, AAP will be planning its second minitrade show and social. The event will feature exhibits and demonstrations by AAP member advisers, as well as wine tasting and live entertainment.

Members of the community are welcome to visit a membership meeting or simply connect with a member for value added goods and services. AAP is currently seeking new members representing a number of businesses, including, but not limited to: residential/commercial construction, kitchen design, weatherization specialists and bookkeeping services.

For more information or to arrange to attend a meeting, contact Stephen Flynn at 777-7711, or visit the AAP website at http://www.aapmaine.com.
