SKOWHEGAN — Mrs. Anna Marie (Orser) Pulcifur, 94, passed away peacefully at her granddaughter’s home in Skowhegan on Aug. 21.

She was born to James R. and Florence V. (Dunphy) Orser in Mars Hill. She attended local schools and graduated from Aroostook Central Institute. In 1935, she married Avon F. Pulcifur. The couple have resided in Mars Hill, the Gardiner area, and Litchfield. Farmington became her permanent residence, where she became an active community leader with the Girl Scouts, a Deaconess at the Old South Congregational Church, Associated Charities, a 25-year volunteer at Franklin Memorial Hospital, a member of the Board of Directors for 80 Main Street, and an honorary corporator of Franklin Savings Bank.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya P. Robinson and her husband, Dewey A., of Rumford; three granddaughters, Victoria A. Lynn and her husband, Leslie H., of Roanoke, Va., Karen L. Robinson, caregiver/companion to Tim Lancaster of Skowhegan, Jill E. R. LeBel and her husband, Randy, of Lewiston; two great-grandchildren, Cpl. Andrew T. Lynn, USMC and his wife, Amanda, of Oceanside, Calif., and Rachel Marie Lynn of Roanoke, Va.; one great-great grandson, Ryan S. Lynn, of Oceanside, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Otto L. Wilcox, of Windsor Conn., and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Avon F. Pulcifur, in 1978; two brothers, Philip W. Orser of Fort Fairfield, and James H. Orser of Mars Hill; and great-grandson, Christopher.
