LEWISTON — Independent gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler will tour Lewiston Tuesday afternoon.

Cutler, a resident of Cape Elizabeth who grew up in the Bangor area, arrives in town at 1 p.m. Tuesday to have lunch with Lewiston Mayor Larry Gilbert and Lucien Gosselin, president of the L-A Economic Growth Council at Simones Hot Dog Stand on Chestnut Street.

Cutler will then tour downtown Lewiston and visit a local business on Lisbon Street before a 2:30 p.m. tour of Falcon Footwear at 2 Cedar St.
