AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer “Supervising People: The Essential Skills for Leaders.” The five-part series will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays, Sept. 17 to Oct. 15. The cost is $315, including workbooks and materials.

The program will help managers, supervisors and team leaders identify communication barriers, performance issues and will provide tools to address difficult employees. Participants will to learn how to tackle the difficult issues and improve team productivity. Topics include communication, coaching for improved performance, team-building and collaborative team problem solving.
