SEBAGO — Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake will present “Night Sky” on Sept. 17-26.

In the play, Anna, a brilliant and articulate astronomer, is hit by a car and loses her ability to speak. She is able to communicate only with sentences that are a jumble of words that are alternately confusing, funny, original and wise — sometimes all four. The story follows Anna through her illness and ultimate acceptance of herself — a personal triumph despite a continuing infirmity — and dramatizes the impact of her changed circumstances on her lover, teenage daughter and professional life.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors. Schoolhouse Arts Center is on Route 114, just north of Routes 114 and 35. For more information, call 642-3743 or log on to www.schoolhousearts.org.
