Rabies vaccination

NORWAY — Responsible Pet Care will sponsor a rabies vaccination and micro-chipping clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Norway Fire Station.

Cost is $10 for the rabies vaccination and $25 for micro-chipping. Micro-chipping a pet will aid owners in locating them should a disaster occur or if they are lost. For more information, call 743-8679. 

Open house

OTISFIELD — The Bell Hill Meetinghouse on Bell Hill Road will be open for public inspection from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1.

The open house is being held in partial compliance with the terms of a New Century Community Program grant for historic buildings renovation which the association received in 2008. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bottle drive

SUMNER — A bottle drive will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, to benefit the Sumner Scholarship Fund. Free trash bags are available at the Sumner Town Office.

Pickup will be available at homes in Sumner between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 11. Bottle may be dropped off through the end of September at Skippy’s Backyard Bottle Drop at the Buckfield Mall or at the Hartford Center Redemption, corner of Routes 219 and 140.

Scout meeting

SOUTH PARIS — Boy Scouts of America Troop 130 meetings are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St.

Breakfast

HARRISON — A buffet breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the United Parish, Congregational Church of Harrison and North Bridgton, 77 Main St., Harrison.

There will be scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, homemade muffins and coffee cakes, juice and coffee. Donations will be welcome.
