Happening at Holly’s The duo Jan Mayes & Jerry Joe will play from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Holly’s Own Deli & Restaurant. After playing many years in Virginia with The Jan Mayes Band and also with The Perfect Defectives, Mayes has returned to Maine and has teamed up with local musician Jerry Joe Carrier. They are both accomplished singers-songwriters/guitarists in their own right. Mayes and Carrier will play their original music as well as harmonize. Holly’s is at 84 Court St., Auburn. No cover charge.
