Christopher M. Emery of Auburn, was recently inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.

Emery, a rising sophomore majoring in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, is a 2009 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and the son of Gerald and Heather Emery.

The purpose of the national honor society for freshmen is to encourage superior scholastic achievement among students during their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.
