LIVERMORE FALLS — A family of four lost their home to a fire at 201 Pine Ridge Loop in East Livermore on Friday. A state fire inspector has been called to investigate.

A passer-by reported the blaze at about 12:30 p.m. and then let the family dog out of the mobile home, Livermore Falls Fire Chief Gerry Pineau said.

He declined to identify the family, but said they were not home at the time.

Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to a bedroom, but the home has been condemned. Firefighters from Livermore Falls, Livermore, Wayne, Wilton and Jay responded to fire.

The family does not have insurance so the town and Red Cross are working with them, Pineau said.
