LISBON — John and Irene Tobin of Lisbon are announcing the engagement of their son, Stephen James Tobin of Rockland, Mass., to Erin Melissa Wood of Rockland Mass., daughter of Judy Wood of Framingham, Mass. and John Wood of Barnstead, N.H.

Miss Wood is a 1992 graduate of Nashua Senior High School in Nashua, N.H., and is employed as a data analyst for Grantham, Mayo and Van Otterloo in Boston.

Mr. Tobin is a 1993 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He is working as a project manager for Cashman Dredging and Marine Contracting Co. in Quincy, Mass.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg.
