AUBURN — The First Auburn Seniors will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Hasty Community Center. President Angie Jipson will conduct the meeting. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. and the regular meeting will be at 11 a.m.

Tickets will be on sale, for $5, for a fried chicken dinner to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 15. The program will be a basket raffle.

Member Betty Hebert will be in charge of a fundraising 50-50 event, to start with the September meeting.

The August summer picnic was attended by 123 members from the First Auburn Seniors and the New Auburn Seniors. A good time was had by all. Diane Vincent was welcomed as a new member.
