As a child, she sang at the Baptist Church in Farmington Falls and recently returned, at the age of 90, sang during Sunday services a few hymns with Maurice Hovey.

Harriet enjoyed singing, flower gardening and playing cards, but most of all, she wanted to spend time with her family, picnicking, berry picking, and “Sunday mystery rides” with her daughters and dear friend, Maxine.
