BRIDGTON – A man found dead inside a South High Street home on Tuesday likely died from an accidental fall, police said Wednesday.

For a part of the day Wednesday, local and state police were at the home of 45-year-old Lee Moulton who was believed to have died the night before.

Bridgton police said they called for a State Police detective to examine the scene before Moulton’s death was classified as accidental.

Officers from both departments were at the 85-South High St. home on Wednesday with the property briefly cordoned off by yellow crime scene tape.

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said state police officials found no signs indicating a suspicious death. The case remains under investigation by Bridgton police.
