The headline is plural. Technically there’s only one time change so far, but don’t be surprised if there are more in light of what is expected to be a close shave from Hurricane Earl late Friday and early Saturday.
Lake Region at Mountain Valley football has been moved from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Hosmer Field.
Farther south, at least one Saturday game — Gorham at Cheverus — has been moved to Friday afternoon in an effort to beat the rain, wind and wet grounds.
Saturday is the day in the most doubt right now, with skies not expected to clear completely until midday.
Games could be moved easily to Monday this week and played at any hour of the day, thanks to the Labor Day holiday.
