Promising newcomers: Boys: Sophomores — Tyler Horsford, Brian Nugent; Freshmen — Ben Bailey, Stewart Buzzell, Marques Houston, Dylan Thombs. Girls: Juniors —Tammy Cushman, Brittany Robertson; Freshmen — Amanda Anair, Tiffany Pease.

Outlook: Minkowsky was the top runner at the end of last season for the MVC champion girls. Cook also moved into the top four during her freshman year and will be counted on to step up and fill the void left by Ayer and Szotkowski’s graduation. The McInnis brothers and Desmond give the boys a solid 1-2-3 punch. Menendez leads the team alone this year after eight years of co-coaching with Rick Amero, who is now Monmouth’s athletic director.
