 Returning letter winners:  Juniors — Josh Turbide (FB), Cody St. Germain (MF), Caleb Turner (G); Sophomores — Travis Frost (MF), Hunter Ross (MF).

Key losses:  Eric Bolduc (MF), Tyler Gates (F), Dylan Castonguay (F/FB), Cliff Turner (F/FB),  Jeremy Remeika (FB), Dakota Turnbull (FB).

Promising newcomers: Seniors — Travis Willis (FB), Nick Harlow (MF), Joel Cloutier (FB);  Junior — Garret Carver (MF);  Sophomores —Trevor Newman (FB), Chad Snowman (F);  Freshman  — Bryan Volkernick (F).

Outlook: The  Cougars lost many veterans from a team that went unbeaten in the regular season and lost in the MVC title game. That included all-state players Gates and Bolduc.  With some new talent and a new coach, the Cougars will go through some growing pains but hope to competitive in the MVC.

” We lost some key players due to graduation, but we have some younger players ready to step up. If we keep working hard and improving like we have been, then we should do pretty well this season.
