Key losses: Boys: Faisal Abdillahi, Jaron Jones; Girls: Jenny Bergeron

Promising newcomers: Boys: Junior — Justin Leclerc, Brady Julian, Nick Johnson; Sophomores — Luc Bourget, Braden Deraps, Adam Robinson; Freshman — Izaac White.

Outlook: Fletcher is filling in for long-time coach Dan Campbell, who is out west helping a friend organize a marathon. Campbell will be back for some home meets and the end of the season, when the Red Eddies could be a factor in the KVAC and Eastern A championships. After a promising track season, Noor figures to be one of the top runners in Class A. Mohamed and new additions Bourget and White complete a solid top four. The girls’ team is as thin as it has been in some time, although Hart finished 26th at states in 2009.
