Outlook: The Patriots are counting on an infusion of youth to help them compete in the strong Western Maine Conference. Shafer and McCann, a soccer convert, join Schaeffer to form the boys’ top three. The girls have more experience than recent teams, and newcomers Ferguson and Harper should help their depth.
