AUBURN — Christy A. Trask, 91, of Buckfield, died Sunday evening, Sept. 5, at Clover Health Care.

She was born in Danville on May 23, 1919, the daughter of Alton and Nellie J. Edwards, and stepmother, Ruby Edwards. She was educated in Auburn schools and married Floyd E. Trask on December 22, 1939; he passed away in 1983.

She worked at Withington’s Manufacturing and Auburn Heel Factory and later drove a school bus for several years until she was 82. She was involved with the Eastern Star for over 50 years, having served as Grand Officer, Grand Martha, two years as District Deputy Grand Matron, Grand Representative twice, Worthy Matron many times, and held most all of the offices, as well as serving in the Rebekahs as Noble Grand several times and as District Deputy President.

They had three children who survive, Joanne Bonney, and her husband, Bob, of Auburn, Ed Trask of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Greg Trask and his wife, Martha, of Turner.She is also survived by five grandchildren, Eric and Denise Bonney of Parker, Colo., Steve and Ellen Bonney of Strong, Gregory and Myra Trask, Christopher Trask and Lisa Trask, of Turner, and ten great-grandchildren.
